I agree with you so much there. Modest Mouse are one of the best bands of the past 10 years an no one has heard of them!

Amen to that, though too many people know them only as 'The Band that sung'd Float On'.
Joe Satriani has some good stuff, mainly the recentish self titled one... I think... But ZZ's Song has always been a favourite of mine.
