'A road of sorts trough the air or something?' Kaira wondered. 'I don't know... Wouldn't that draw huge attention to us?'

As a team of agents scurried after Elfair, the guards quickely carried Charger inside.
Charger hardly noticed, he was still out cold as he was taken to the basement levels. And when he started to wake up, he was already down there. As he slowly got his vision back, he looked around a bit.
He wasn't laying down, like the last time he woke up in some place he didn't know. This time he was hanging, or standing, with his arms cuffed to the wall.
'Great...' he mumbled as he squeezed his eyes. The room was dark, there wasn't any fancy white wall anywhere, and no bright white lights on the ceiling. It looked more like a dungeon. Just a wall of brownish bricks, and a small yellowish lamp that was supposed to light the room. Infront of him was a table and a chair.
He felt kind of stupid. Getting so close to escaping just to be recaptured. Well, at least Elfair was save. Or so he hoped.
On further inspection of the room, he noticed that it didn't have an observation window, no cameras, nothing to keep an eye on him. Then again, they probably figured it wasn't needed. The cuffs Charger was held with were solid steel and the locks looked brandnew. Wouldn't surprise him if it was some sort of titanium. Nope, no breaking out this time. He could only hope that... no who was he kidding, he was a dead cat.
After a few more minutes, a dark figure entered the room trough the steel door and the other end of where Charger was.
'Welcome back,' the voice said. Jack, no doubt.
'Great, you again...' Charger reacted. 'Is it to much to ask to be a little original with the welcoming comite?'
Jack grinned and walked up to him, standing behind the table.
'Sorry, you'll have to do with me.'
'Well thanks, you just ruiened my day,' sarcasm was all over it and for a second they stared right at each other, seeing who would look away first.
After a minute of silence Charger got anoyed, and spoke up.
'Are you going to tell me what the hell you want from me? Or do you just enjoy pinning people to walls?'
Jack grinned again, then grabbed the chair and sat down.
'Well, we picked you up for research purposes actualy. But before we get to the cutting and slicing, I need you to tell me something.'
Charger laughed heartly.
'You expect your test subject to tell you stuff? I must have hit you harder then I thought.'
Jack rubbed his hand over the wound on his forhead.
'Funny...' he reacted. 'You'd do good to just co-operate. It's for your best interest.'
Charger pulled up an eyebrow. Yea right.
'You're going to cut me up, how the hell is it in my best interest?'
Jakc then made a hand gesture.
'Well, maybe not for your best interest. But if you do as I say, the least I can do is make sure that your girlfriend Kaira is merely shipped to a zoo.'
Charger's eyes grew. Anger built up inside him again, even more so as when he dragged Jack of Elfair.
'YOU LEAVE KAIRA ALONE YOU HEAR ME?!'
He tried to break trough the chains, which obviously didn't do much. But in anger he tried to anyway.
'You touch her, and I'l kill you!' he breezed in Jack's face.
Jack nodded.
'I won't touch her if you start talking...' he merely said in simple manner. 'But you better make up your mind soon... because I have a chopper waiting to take me to Golden Valley as we speak.'
Charger grunted, panting a bit as he recovered from his little anger outburst.
'Why the hell should I trust you...' he growled underneath his breath.
Jack then stood up, walking up to the door.
'Alright Charger. I'l tell her you said hi.'
Charger rose his head as he walked off. He had to decide... how could he trust a guy like this. On the other side, he could at least do as he said, then at least he tried to save Kaira the pain.
'No wait!' Charger yelled after him. 'What do you need to know!'
Jack turned with a grin.
'Thats more like it...'
