The reason people get so excited about sequels is because they like the games in the series they've played before. It's fairly hard to get excited about a game you've never heard of/don't know much about.

True, but it doens't make it games any more interesting. GTAIV: Documented Sputum Load #7129 and
Forerunner are really just the same old crap, and I played Doom 3: RoE. All we need is someone to **** up the balance, and
definatley not Nintendo.
