Maybe something distracted them, like all this stuff going on at the lab, and she conveniently slipped out then.
Jim: "Wha? Oh, the black mudokon, yeah, she's in there. She's wach..., uh, wach-shing her clothes! Cus, I don't know, she was just... doing... that..."
Jim looked awkward. At that moment a slig appeared down the corridor, seemed to be shouting at someone, and then a slog near its feet leapt away from him and, judging by the yells, started attacking someone.
Jim stifled a yell and made the tactical decision to run in the opposite direction.
While all this was providing adequet distraction Dionysia stepped out of the bathroom, rolled her eyes at the idiocy of it all and headed down to the stockyards to meet Anni (post 699).

Dionysia (having spoken to Anni) stamped her foot agrilly. That girl was infuriating!
Reslotuely deciding to stay here and wait for her, she wandered over to the grove of trees the girl had been hugging and dancing round and leant against one, waiting determinedly for her return.
