OOC: Damn! I hate work. Otherwise I might have been able to keep up for the past few hours. And Gretin, I think Dave was introduced after Daniel.
---
Dave had thought briefly that if Kix had stayed with him, then he could at least hear Daniel out. But as he was pondering it, Pseok had already begun flying away. So Dave decided not to worry about it.

Ropael Furisto, an Ancient Vampire, manifested himself in an office in his true form. He was nearly seven feet tall and terribly gaunt. His face was a series of points: his nose, his chin, and his cheekbones all ended in unnatural points. His teeth - fangs, really - were protruding from his mouth, and more teeth-like protrusions grew from his cheeks to right under his sunken, red eyes. He had no hair, and so the large red dot on his forehead was more pronounced. The dot resembled a bubble of blood, pulsing with life and on the edge of dribbling over ... but never quite spilling down its face. He was dressed in a simple black hooded robe which trailed behind him. And for the first time in weeks, he was hungry.
No. Not hungry. He was ... Hungry. With a capital H, he thought.
And to make matters worse, The Boy had shot him. He was clutching his shoulder, hoping to stop the bleeding. He refused to believe he had actually been shot. He mashed a button on an intercom, and within moments a dog-taheen nurse came in with a cart of medical supplies.
Furisto was furious. No matter what he did, he knew that there would always be a scar where he had been wounded. Even if he were to take another form, there would be evidence of the wound.
If only he had remained in his Dragon form! Sirrush would have been safe from such pitiful weaponry, he was sure of it! But he, in his confidence, had assumed his Fisher form, thinking he could convince The Boy to join him.
As Furisto skulked, the dog-taheen nurse worked the bullet out of his shoulder.
The Boy and The Eagle. Somehow, that Eagle had managed to defeat him. No, not defeat ... but he had distracted him for too long. Had he known his phoenix body, Artemis, would have been overpowered, he might have assumed Sirrush's form sooner ...
"Damn!" was all Furisto could think to say, though he uttered it in his ancient language. The dog-taheen was now absently stitching the wound closed. Furisto noticed this and waved her away. The wound stitched itself closed, but this did not please Furisto.
He stood, and in so doing grew shorter and assumed more human features... Fisher again. He reached and felt his shoulder ... a nasty scar would form.
He had never intended to harm The Boy ... but now he had to amend this promise. He was now only certain he wouldn't kill The Boy. He couldn't be sure he wouldn't ... hurt him. But certainly he wouldn't kill him.
After a short amount of thought, he was able to pinpoint Slade. He turned around and teleported to Slade's side. (OOC: I have no idea where this is ... so Gretin, I'll need your help)
Fisher: "Mr. Slade, good to see you again."
