OOC: Wow, this is a lot of posts 12 or so hours! By the way, T-nex, it was only Daniel who showed up, not Slade.

IC:

"It would seem your methods involve letting someone else subdue who you're after and showing up to claim him yourself."

Daniel held up a hand, "Oh no, don't get me wrong. I was not informed you were here. And now I know, I'll leave you to it."
He turned, and was about to walk away when...

Dave took advantage of this extra time to dive for the gun. Fisher saw out of the corner of his eye, but was, remarkably, too slow to react. He was nearly ready to attack when he saw Dave held the gun. He froze in his tracks.
Then, amazingly, a ball of lightning arose from Krisha's direction - though neither Dave nor Fisher knew she was there - and launched itself at Fisher.

Daniel reacted instantly, jumping between Fisher (although Fisher had vanished before Daniel landed) and the ball of lightning and holding out both hands. The lightning stopped in front of Daniel's glowing hands and seemed to get sucked into them. Then he turned back towards Dave to see that he was climbing on the eagle and Fisher had reappeared.
Daniel held up a hand and the ball of lightning he had absorbed blasted out of it, only to hit Kix's barrier. He stood looking at the two cats for a moment, sensing their power to work out the appropriate counter for it.
Then he realised it; the shield could stop magic passing through, but he didn't have to use his power on them directly. He smiled and held his hands out as if he was holding a bow. Flames started spurting out above and below his hands, then they formed the shape of a fiery bow. The flames went out, leaving a completely functional bow in Daniel's hands. He quickly formed an arrow in the same way, but let the tip continue burning as he loosed the arrow and let it fly towards Kix, who he sensed was creating this shield...

Silvia ran after Krisha as she ran to Pseok, but by the time she got there he had already taken off. She moved after him a short distance, until she could watch what was happening, not really knowing what to do...
