No, just some really old seer (Nostradamus? Don't know if it was or was not him) who was thought to be right about some things said "The number of the beast is 666" {or something to that effect}, refering to something that would destroy the world. Guess what: it's a belief. Which means even if you don't believe it, by the rules of these forums you should not point and laugh.
