You liked X2? Were you really, really high when you played it?

The story got good about half way through the game plus I loved that battle system.
The whole reason I started playing RPG's was because I fell in love with the story for X (And Kingdom Hearts because I was playing both of them around the same time) So I played X-2 a little while after and all the things that everyone found annyoing didn't bug me (I didn't say I liked them) but the good things about the game made me like but I can't say X-2 is one of my all time favorite games cause it didn't live up to anything exept for the battle system.
I didn't like FF7 because the graphics realllllly turned me off even for PlayStation game they stunk atleast to me and the story wasn't really interesting to me. (But the weapon bosses rocked and bahumut rocked too but I prefer him the most in 9)
