As the highest-ranking staff member that allowed and participated in the whole Wired debacle, I accept full responsibility, so you can get angry at me if that's what you want. Just don't vent at Alcar.
And honestly, I don't feel the least bit guilty about Wired, as I am constantly going out of my way by checking new members for the possibility of multiple accounts. I don't "make a big deal about it," I do it because it's my responsibility. And I don't care if this is hypocritical, because Wired was nothing more than a one-time joke to liven up this place a bit; he was never a serious multi account. Everything he said was supposed to be ironic, but I guess some people just missed that.
Those who participated had every intention of revealing Wired's identity once the majority of the forum was convinced that he was Dino. Unfortunately, we were all too lazy to make Dino-length posts, so our plan kinda fell apart. It was going to be a "Ha-ha! Gotcha! We can all laugh about it and move on now!" moment, but I guess that wasn't meant to be.
I do want thank a few of you, like Dippy, who are seriously ready to move past the whole thing, and even fewer of you, like OANST, who actually get it.
