Okay, what the hell? Since when did this forum turn into a place where the moderation team can just play around and abuse their powers? Because thats what basicaly happened here. It was said before, the rules state clearly no multies are allowed, Alcar and the rest are extremely over sensitive about that and ban on sight. But when they feel like pulling a joke, they just create one themself to have some fun. What gives you the right to do so and not other members? The mod team us supposed to set an example for other members and not think they are better then others just because they have powers and a fancy title (AKA Hobo, and how he ever got powers is totaly beyond me).
We have had countless discussions about how postcount and custom titles doesn't make anyone better then a new member. But I guess admin or mod status does? Thats BS, and I say that while I'm on the Mod team myself. The people involved in this dishonour their title.

Let me tell you a thing or two about running a professional forum. The Oddworld Forums are the top unofficial Oddworld forums in the community. If not the only realy active one. That alone is reason enough to keep this place ran in a professional manner. Playing jokes on members is fun for your every day house, kitchen & garden forum. But not here.
Our forum is the first website mentioned on the Oddworld.com fansite list. But this place seems to suddenly have developed a huge gap between member and moderator. And thats not the way to go.

If you can not see that abusing your powers to play a joke (and a very very lame one at that, because I didn't find it at all funny), is wrong. If you, as a mod or admin, choose to have a prick like Hobo around, dispite him breaking every possible rule, and where any other guy with the same behaviour would have been banned long ago. If that is how you think a forum should be ran, you are not worthy of your title.

Also, Hobo is not funny. I can take whatever he throws at me, don't you worry about that. But that doesn't make it funny. Hobo is an arogant piece of sh*t that should have been kicked from this place long ago, instead of everyone praising him as a god for some retarded reason. Other people who joined this forum with the same behavior lasted a week, or a month at the very most, before the entire staff decided it was enough and banned the guy. Hobo still has his name all over the callender, thinking he is some important person who should be remembered.

The persons involved in this should check themselfs to see if they actualy find this funny. And should concider if this is the level you want OWF to continue with. Because if you keep running this place the way you do now, it will be dead before 2007.
