Nah, I don't think it's a problem as long as it isn't actually a dead (ie resolved) topic.
Playing SW again, I've been disappointed by the lack of variation in the boss battles. Almost all of them can be taken down alive by some combination of thudslugs, skunkz and zappflies.
Bolamites hardly ever did anything - I think there was only one boss who could be trapped and even then not for long. And stingbees and boombats tended to take damage rather than stamina.

I think the limited choice of weapons to take them alive is a great part of the design. It's very easy to kill them but, it takes a lot more skill to capture them alive where you only have two or three weapons to use.
Bolamites work on Jo Momma and Filthy Hands Floyd. Makes getting across to Jo Momma very easy.
