The Grand Theft Auto series is good for a vary of reasons:
It's a free roaming environment
A great selection of cars and weapons
You can pimp out your car in SA
You can change cloths in SA(I think you can in VC too)
You can go through the game without killing innocent people.
In SA, there are a load of side missions to do including demolision derbys.
In SA, you can build up your body(or make it fat for laughs)
Since the GTA series was released, the amout of crime has decreased.
People can take aggression out on pixels rather than other people.
@ Abe 01: Your friend's an idiot. If the children play a game and decide to copy actions from it, it's their own damn fault aswell as the parents' fault for buying it in the first place, not the people who made it. Your friend's probubly been listening to Jack(ass) Thompson too much.
