I'm a Collingwood supporter. I went to the game today. It was a thrashing against North Melbourne.
Although I aren't really someone who knows the ins and outs of teams and players ... including my own. I just like to watch the sport. So hopefully my team will go good this year.

I know absolutely nothing about AFL yet I live in Melbourne. How incredibly strange.

It's not really that strange. Even though you're in a football-mad state, I've come across a lot of gaming fans who aren't interested in the sport. Although I'm basing it more-so on the anime conventions I attend, as anime fans aren't really big football fans [or even sport fans] in general. But of course there's always going to be exceptions, but I just don't find it too strange that a gamer wouldn't know anything about it.
