That maybe so, but like Havoc said, newbies should have to adapt to the forums, not the other way around.

I remember on my time on Shadows of Nothing Forums was flourishing with activity (not good activity, but still activity). It was because they managed to divide their range of forum subjects into a smart and even structure of sub forums, including a forum for just plain random drabble. It seems like a good idea for here, but I still don't think it would really do much for solving spam and noob problems, it would just add to the confusion and eventual flaming in either GD or OT.
