Not seen a piece of Glass or Daedric yet. I'm level 22 and specialised in Heavy Armour. Do I need to go through an Oblivion Gate? Or some random dungeons?

You'll most likely find some Daedric armor on Marauders or Vampires, both of which can be found in random caves and forts. Also, some higher ranking Dremora carry them directly on them (it's not just their "skin" like some Daedra).
The glass helm is pretty neat... at least it's a lot better than the Morrowind one. It's basically a helmet that comes down to the nose, with separate holes for the eyes. Think of the Gray Fox's gray cowl... it's kinda like that, only made of glass.
