Continued from the last story...
I had to get closer to a slig or flying slig. I rolled over to a rock and tucked myself deep inside where I had a good view in front of me, yet I was still in the shadows. I had never chanted in my life, but if I succeed, I might be able to possess one. I started.
"Help!"
"Look out!"
"Hey!"
"Ack-Ack."
"Hehe-ahhh!"
I possessed a flying-slig.
"Woah! I did it! - Whups!"
I forgot that I was now the Slig. Other Sigs were looking at me. I was having the hardest time trying to controll myself being so new at this.
"Uhh, watch out! Comming through. Don't want a mess!"
I flew around the corner where I couldn't see the opening. I needed something that would blow a good bit of the Alpha Squad up.
"I know what I need. Mines!"
I needed mines. The Controll area should give me access, but the Slig inside would not let me use it. The Controlls even controll the gate, but I would be found out for sure. I finally found the Controll area. It wasn't that hard with all of the signs pointing that way.
"Hey. Uhh General Dripik gave me an unnotified assignment to use the controlls for a while. No questions asked!"
The Slig at the controlls didn't like my demand.
"I will have to clear it."
I needed to stop the Slig from leaving the room.
"Wait!-"
In nervousness I pulled the mysterious lever hanging off my side. A grenade dropped out and blew the Slig up.
"Bullzye! This Slig comes with a built-in BOOM machine!"
Another slig rushed into the room.
"What was that?! I heard an explosion."
"Uhh I thought it was the blue terrorist sir. It was just a normal Mudokon. I blew it up. My fault sir."
"Good job! Hehehe. Keep up the work."
The slig walked away. Now I needed to access the Controlls for Mines.
"Let's see. Mess Room door lock....Mudokon waste Room Anti-Chant droids....Machanics Room Greeters....Here it is! Mines! The closest one's to my position is here."
Two small blimps showed up on the screen not far from my blimp.
"Access Mines. Change path...DONE! Woah."
I could feel my self slipping out of focus. I was loosing the possession. Soon, after a while, my focus wiped out and I saw through my Mudokon eyes once again.
"I feel woozy."
Chanting unproperly without the skill is harmful to a Mudokon. It can make them ill or disfigure their insides. Far in front of me. I saw the mines zoom around the corner heading towards all of the Sligs and Slogs on the floor area.
"Ahhh!"
"Look out!"
"Help! Help! HELP!"
They all died. It was funny I have to admit. There were still the flying-sligs and a few survivor Sligs. I had to lead them away from the Blind Mudokons.
"All o-'yall! Follow me."
"Get 'em!"
The Sligs and Flying-Sligs were after me. I led them the same way I went to the Controll room. I went past a few Slig and Glukkon voice locks and teleporters, because escaping wasn't my idea. But suddenly the worst happend. Right around the corner was Abe with his group of not-depressed-anymore Mudokons.
"Okay everyone sneak."
I had to warn Abe and the Mudokons to run the other way instead of sneaking to their doom.
"Turn 'round! Go the other way!"
"Not you again! Everyone run!"
We all ran with the reminants of the Alpha Squad on our tail. Abe stopped.
"Keep on goin'!"
I saw him from the corner of my eye. He took out a bottle and drank it. He strained his face and, instantly, a green cloud came out and filled the area.
"I can't see!"
The Sigs couldn't see anymore, but the green cloud blew up. As the smoke lifted, all I saw was blood and Sig corpses. I led the Mudokons to an old room with junk all over the floor. In front of me was a Bird Portal.
"Oh no! I left the Blind Mudokons back there!"
"I got them."
Abe came into the cluddered room with the Blind Mudokons.
"Would you do the honors?"
I wanted to tell Abe I couldn't chant any better than a Paramite, but I tried anyway. I strained and focused and the most pathetic glow you ever saw came out and the Portal opened up. The regular Mudokons went through first and the Blind Mudokons had trouble finding it, but they managed. Abe spoke to me again.
"Aren't you goin'?"
"No. I want to stay here and help save the others."
"Help? You are a threat to all of us."
I didn't know if I should punch his eye out, which I am capable of, or laugh.
"I've been journalizing you. All of your actions since Rupture Farms."
"That's probrably safer than helping."
Abe smiled at me for once.
"So what's your name?"
"Glin Slagg."
"Nice to meet 'ou."
Abe patted me on the back and ran off to find the other Mudokons. I needed to journalize him as much as possible. Maybe showing this to the clan will bring me back into my home.
Then the loud speakers came on. A mad Glukkon, probrably Aslik, started talking.
"Alpha Squad is gone?! Red Alert! Red Alert! All Mudokons shall be terminated on Mining Area 24.U.09! And you. Get me another cigar. Haha."
The speaker went off and green smoke came from the floor. The only thing I could do was run. The Slig Voicelock had been deactivated so I took it's path.
At the end was a well. I jumped in it and shot straight up. I landed face first onto a hard floor. I looked up an saw the back of Abe enter a room. I saw a sign that read Zulag 1.
"So far so good right?"
I hadn't been killed yet so what was the risk?
The end of that story.
