I just legged it meself. Only got caught in the last mission, and then forgot to put those acrobatics boots on.

That's good! If you have the boots on when you fall, then they "break" and are removed from your inventory. If you forget to put them on, there's a glitch in the game that allows you to keep them. Only problem is that you can't remove them from your inventory because they're a quest item, which I'm you've probably found out.
Speaking of glitches, when you're using the... "item" that you get for finishing the guild, DO NOT wear it when you approach a Shrine of the Nine. Your fame will be erased, your infamy will shoot up to 100 (and can be raised from there), and you will have a 500 bounty
EVEN if you take off the... "item." Happened to me. Had to get my bounty removed. Now all the guards hate me hardcore.
There seems to be a glitch in Aeylid Ruins as well... doors just don't seem to open unless you reload your game.
