I will.
Just got back from vacation. So yeah.
I reached the other side of the portal, the trip was quick and to the point. There wasn't any strange worm hole thingy. Just here and there. When I Stood up and caught my bearings. I was welcomed by a crowd of mudokons who were applauding and cheering and all that jazz. It made me feel good. Time just stood still for a bit as a I sucked in the attention. I snapped out of it when I heard a "Watch out" and jumped to the side right before I saw Stranger fall through the portal. The crowd revived their cheer when they saw him awkwardy fall out of the portal and clambor to his feet. When Abe jumped through the portal, the crowd really got excited. He bowed and spread his arms to the group, showing off his mudokoness.
We stood there, watching him show off when something caught my eye. A mask. A big mask.
It was Big Face.
He walked over to us.
"Good job guys!" he said, patting us on the backs, "You surely saved us all!"
"Thank you sir!," I yelled, filled with the excitement that came with meeting Big Face.
"Who are you fellers anyway?"
"This here human is Phill," Stranger said. He always seemed to introduce me.
"And you?" He turned to Stranger.
"People call me Stranger," he said with a nod.
"Well, Stranger and Phill, you guys did a bang up job taking care of Ozin for us" He said, shaking our hands, "Without you guys, I don't know what we would've done!"
"All in a days work," Stranger said.
"Is there anything we can do to thank you guys?" he said, rubbing his hands together.
"Well," I said, "Is there a place to bathe?"
"Ahh yes," Big Face said, "In that building over there is a natural hotspring that we use for bathing and recreation. I can have the whole building emptied for you guys."
"Really?" I said, "That'd be nice!"
"Thats great," Big Face said, "And you, Stranger?"
"I'll pass," he said, "I bathe alone" And he started to walk away.
"There are seperate rooms," Big face said. Stranger turned around, he looked intrested as he perked up his ears.
"I'm listening," he said.
"Right that way," Big Face motioned with his hands.
"Oky-Dokey" He said, and started heading to the building. We headed to the building and went inside.
Inside we went to our separate rooms. Even though I was alone. I stayed in my boxers and slipped into the water. It was warm, really warm. I slipped back and closed my eyes. I really started thinking about home then. It worried me. How would I get home. Were my parents worried sick. Or was it a dream in reality? I pinched myself. Still there. I pinched myself harder.
Still there.
Tears started swelling in my eyes when I grasped the concept that I may never go home.
"Crying will do no good," A voice said. I turned my head to see a creature standing there.
It was tall and skinney, kinda like those aliens on Star Wars II on that rainy planet. But different. He wore a strange kinda robotic goggle thing over his eyes which gave a perpetual confused, cynical look. His mouth was small and his neck was long. He wore a simple vest made of some sort of animal hide. His right arm was massively bigger than his left in length and had giant oven mit type hand at the end of it. the other was skinny as well, but had a more normal hand on it. And instead of normal feet, he had hooves. His legs were of those matching one who would have hooves, but they weren't furry, they were bare skinned. He wore those similar to knickers of yore and he was standing there in the room, looking at me.
"w...w...whaddya mean?" I stammered
"Tears are no magical portals. And there's no one here to comfort you with them," he said.
"But you're here," I said.
"So it seems," he said, and all of a sudden he disappeared.
"That was weird" I said to myself. All of a sudden I started to feel awkward. As if there was something in the water with me.
There was.
I saw some ripples in the water coming toward me. It jumped out. I closed my eyes as water splashed my face. I wiped off my face and open my eyes to see a familiar amphibious creature standing there.
Munch.
"Munch?" I said. He turned around, saw me, and yelled. I yelled too. With all this excitement and confusion, I had a very weak mindstate and would copy any extreme action thrown at me. It just turned out to be yelling. After a while we calmed down. He looked at me with a look of shock and slight embarrasment at the site of me in my boxers, but he regained his composure and stated.
"I'm sorry, I had no idea anyone was in here,"
continued later
