Fianlly, I have rose this topic from the dead, and gave it new chapter. Or at least part of one. I've decided to separate them into three parts. Or two. Or none. OK, just read the stinkin' chapter!
Chapter 5:The Journey Begins: Part 1: The Coranious
Killgan’s Hut 1:08
Hillker’s vision grew blurry as he became more and more conscious. With a slight feeling of dizziness, Hillker awoke with forgetfulness. Hillker couldn’t remember what he last did, or where he last was. All he remembered was being at Killgan’s class and the rest vanished from his memory. It seemed as if he was in a long, quiet dream. He sat up and looked at his surroundings. Luckily, he recognized his own home.
In Killgan and Hillker’s home, there was a lot of accessaries and other stuff that made their home unique from others. For example, Killgan carved his stone wall, to form 6 series of stone shelves, full of stone stories. These stone shelves circled the entire dome shaped home they lived in, making knowledge swarm their home. There was also varies of spears on the wall, but each were only used or touched when Killgan was meditating. Hillker never knew why he did that, nor did he ask. But they were barely touched when Hillker was around, so they just blend in with the granite walls, making the spears seem like only decoration. Next to Killgan’s scrab hide sleeping bag, was two tomahawker staffs, each in different designs. One was normal, and the other was red, and stone carved. The orb on the top was made out of green painted thudslugs. Hillker also had his own sleeping bag, but was on the opposite side of the room. There was bench in the corner of the room as well, that was used for stone story reading.
Hillker had awoken on that very same bench. He groaned and put his head in his hands to think, in attempt to remember of the past events. He froze when he saw what he thought he saw. He looked down again and gasped. He rushed to a corner in the room, which contained the mirror-like chest plate, to make sure he saw what he thought he saw. He gasped again when he was definite what he thought he saw was true. Where his bare chest use to be, was a tattoo.
The tattoo he had in his chest was rather none he had seen before. There was a jagged circle in the middle, with lightning bolts, coming from the center, that were also jagged. In the center of the circle, was a demon-ish looking mudokon face, with 4 eyes. It didn’t seem like it was a common tattoo, but Hillker was sprung with a non resisting urge, to find out what it did mean.
Hillker jolted to the mini library in his home, and shuffled for the familiar title. The title was inscribed in the ancient language; "Tattoo Dictionary" by J.M.Weirdo. He searched with his bare fingers, for the oh so familiar story. Eventually, his three fingers found the wide volume. With all sorts of exictement flowing within him, he hastily pressed his hand in the story stone and suddenly, everything was silent. His mind was over flowed with thought of tattoos, but he searched for his own. He felt like he was in a bubble, with black tattoos making the exterior of the bubble. He searched his own, but was difficult to find with the varies of tattoos. He looked for a symbol of a four eyed mudokon, but he found it easy to find one. He found the tattoo, and with drastic excitement, Hillker saw the words of its definition.
You should’ve seen the surprise Hillker had. The beginning was written, "The Coranious." According to the ancient writing, it said,
"One who acquirers this symbol is promised to be both protected by new found strength.
The power within, will scare off even the most powerful spirits, for the four eyed mudokon means "lone soul".
The body and the soul, can be separated from any length.
The soul can return to its home, for if the body will allow.
The body will be protected by Skurull’s servents, destroying all powerful creatures that enter the body.
These separating powers can be used for life and death, but be warned, you can just say to your powers, ‘Ciao!’"
After Hillker removed his hand from the stone story, he was astonished. He couldn’t believe that he had powers that could possibly fake death. Hillker was so enriched with curiosity, he had to try out his new powers. His eyes were practical full of determination, that he looked like he had waiting for this moment for a melania. He hastily rushed to the bench and quickly went into medition. Nothing seemed so important to this to Hillker at that moment.
Hillker, after a painful 14 minutes, achieved to see something different. Everything in sight was black and white, making him wonder where he was. Then and there, he saw mystical blue orbs appear before his very eyes, but were quickly substituted for others. Soon, he used all his power to absorb these orbs. After days of finding the events, I found that Hillker first saw color in his new vision, but was blue. Instead feeling powerful, he felt wounded badly. he groaned at first. But after a few moments, he felt like he was dying. He screamed in pain, but he knew no one could hear it. No one should be able to. But before he knew it, it stopped. His black and white vision remained, but he was standing up for some reason. He looked around and gasped in excitement. He saw his body, mediating on the bench. He wanted to scream. He wanted to shout. He felt like telling the whole Oddworld. But something made him stop. Hillker was bodyless, and couldn’t be heard.
