Dreams are just a big load of ''WTF''. Seriously, when I was like 6 I had a dream where I was in Spain, in the balcony of a haunted house, with some giant fat thing, hiding under a plastic table with one of plastic guitars. For some reason, a bunch of drunkards come through and jumped off the balcony and walked away, then the Grim Reaper came, and I made a noise on the guitar so he flew away. 0_o
Don't ask. Dreams can have serious effects on you though, get a nightmare during unholy hours of night, and you're screwed, that's it, terrified. It can probably carry on till morning. I wouldn't say dreams have any serious effects though. Maybe if you were really a psychic, but doubt it otherwise.
