Kaira sat near the fire, listening interested with perked ears to Streak and her story. It was very catching, and somewhere she felt proud to be part of the group that turned her life around.
She looked up at the flames erupting above them.
'The same thing happened at the circus...' she mumbled, partialy to confirm it for herself. Then she kept quiet again.
She stared at the fire a little longer, then laid down and curled herself up into a furry ball. Her muzzle resting on her forpaws and her tail wrapped around her, she enjoyed the warmth of the fire as a blanket.
'Good night everyone,' she muttered, then closed her eyes.
