A Slog is built a bit like a cube, it's short (As in not long) and its body is quite high (As in upwards when it is horizontal), so its legs balance it as it is short enough to not be unbalanced. I think of their balance like when we crouch- we go horizontal but don't always fall over as our legs are long enough to balace our body's length.
