I wouldn't call ILB part of the story.
But yes, Marathon, the books, the soon to be out Graphic Novel, stuff from the Mac Halo 0, stuff from HBO...

And by Not Halo 3...I meant that you hated the amount of shooting and walking...it's an FPS for christs sake.
