Gore chose this moment to strike. He had to be aware of Sreg's safety, but he had to get him down. He found a foothold, and aimed the Gore rifle carefully. He remembered something on the schematic. Something VERY important.
He pressed a button, and out popped a cigar. He giggled quietly to himself, put the lungbuster into his mouth, and aimed the gun again. He aimed it right at the mechanical arm holding up Sreg. He was going to blow that arm off if he hit it, he thought, then he would jump down and beat Molt down with his own metal arm! He fired the Gore rifle, and it fired with a most satisfying bang, that firing the gun itself made him smile.
