When I first read what George Lucas said about Mace Windu being 250 odd years old which is about middle aged for people in SW, that was when I first got suspicious. If he is 250 and looks like he is 30 (Sam Jackson is 57! OMG!) then Yodas line about "When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not" makes no sense, because Windu looks fine at 250.
