I'm pretty sure, though, that Fuzzles are more of a cartiledge-muscle being (similar to sharks).

I theorize that fuzzles have a small brain nestled at the top of a mult-chambered skull, the skull acts not only as protection for the brain, but all of the other vital organs as well. The skull would most likely be open at the base, allowing the intestines to do what they're made to do, and below that is a cushioning muscular tissue that moves in a pushing fashion to create the bouncing motion.
