Didn't Mayella later make a move on Tom? I haven't read it in four years, but I'm pretty sure that, according to Tom's testimony, Mayella tried to take advantage of Tom.

yes, yes we are.
mayella didn't so much try and "take advantage" of Tom. More like she tried to impress him, but she was too stupid and naive to do so. Thats what I think at least.
