Now, obviously, I can't take a side, but still ... this is ridiculous. I feel bad about your friend's predicament. I doubt that the media will get involved, but you're right about how they would play it up. It's like, if a girl says she was raped, then that's like 500 points in her favor, and no matter how much evidence is raised to say she's lying, the fact that the woman says she was raped is as solid as a rock argument that can't be proved false by anyone outside of God in person.
Shit like this burns me up, because I sometimes act before I think, like your friend did, and I know how it is when no one believes me. Bah.
