I find the semi-'attempted suicide' business of yours even more so.
I quite like them insecty types, and coexist with the spiders. Only bad recent encounter was in the downstairs crapper, where a rather large bush spider scuttled its way in front of my face on a web. Needless to say, lucky I was sitting on a toilet.
