Blaze looked up at where Swick pointed. "That's a friend. But whether or not you are remains to be seen. So I think that if we're all to 'move on' with you, you should explain yourself a little better."
Streak looked ready to argue, but thought better of it.

Fisher had stepped into a point in town where he suspected Silvia would soon be. It was an empty house. The inhabitants had abandoned it in a hurry. He sat comfortably in one of the chairs in the living room, waiting. He took a moment to think to himself that he should protect the house he was in from the wave of water coming on. And it was so.
Soon enough ...
Pulling Silvia with her, Grace leapt through the door of a house whose occupent had left the door open in their understandable hurry. She pushed Silvia down under a table in a corner and pushed herself down afterwards. She shouted something at her but her words were swallowed by the noise of the water.
Then the wave hit the house.
Fisher heard the water strike the house, and indeed it did rattle it, but the house stood.
Fisher moved over to where Grace and Silvia cowered under the table. He crouched and reached out for Silvia, as if to help her up. "Hello there!" he said, with a charming smile.
