I'm betting most people here will change their minds by the time they get old enough to have kids. I know I did.

I always wanted to have kids until I started leading in a youth group and on camps. I soon realised that the best thing about kids is giving them back. So I intend to be the world's greatest uncle and shower my nephews and nieces with love but I'll be glad not to have the final responsibility for them.

Not to mention, I realise now that I only ever wanted kids to relive my childhood (hopefully) more successfully. And that's the best way to screw up a kid, speaking as someone who's father did that to him. Also, as a parent if your child ends up totally screwed up, you've got no-one to blame but yourself. And I couldn't handle the thought that I had screwed up someone else's life.
