It took him a few seconds to get over the initial surprise and slam his back into a wall, crushing her. He was too angry and too charged to notice the change that had come over her.
He felt her grip loosen and he swung round, shaking her free, and delivered a strong punch to her face, feeling glass break under his fingers and realising he'd smashed the syringes he'd held. he threw the broken glass and liquid to the ground, raised his gun and brought it down with both hands towards the top of her head. She dodged aside and he struck her with the hit on the shoulder instead.
He stepped back from the wall to give himself more room to swing. He was used to fighting in the open, out in the wild and fighting animals. But then muds, animals, what was the difference?
