If they launched it in the shops, or even on amazon, then they would get more of a sale for it.

Yeah, but they wouldn't have made as much money out of it. Ballistic Publishing, an Australian company, would be forced to set up American warehousing if they wanted to sell through Amazon, and would have to discount the price of the books by 70% to sell to retail chains, and both would cause an increase in price and a decrease in shipping quality for us, the customers.
