I just fail to see why people get offended by people who depict their prophets or whatever. I mean come on, it's not their problem. If i wanna draw muhammed i do so, and i dont care what other people think. Why can't they just ignore it? I mean is there even a reason to overreact like this cos of some stupid drawings?? Daqnmark and some other countries are in trouble for showing some drawings published by 3 people or something like that. It's pathetic... O.o

It's because the Islamic religion is heavily opposed to idolatry and even attempting to depict a holy figure is extremely offensive.
I'm rather torn on the issue, because I believe that people should be able to whatever they want (as far as publications go), but I think there are some things that should just be respected, and this goes way beyond disrespect. I dunno.
