Oh, and I forget where (parts of Britian maybe?) but it's rude to be early and polite/acceptable to be a little late for appointments, while in the US, it's rude to late and good to be early.

I always thought that being fashionably late like that was more of Spanish and Italian thing. I think that Britain is pretty reliant on time, just not as much as us.
Someone set me straight if I'm wrong.
