40%? Those are old statistics, I'm sure of it, because last time I checked it's 60% obesity. The USA is a fat country.
Okay, now I'm curious. What is the percentage of overweight or obese Americans? Like, recently, as in 2005. Has it really gotten to be 60%?

I would just like to add, that I think obesity isn't something to brush off. If your body fat is billowing off the sides of your pants, and you look like you'd be more at home in a tank at Sea World, then you have a problem. Your body is not made to carry 300, 400 pounds.

Overweight? Fine. People can be healthy and still be overweight. I'm speaking from experience here.

But, there IS a difference between chubby, overweight, and obese. People don't seem to realize that body size is subjective, and then lump us into one group.
