You confuse me, Havoc. The first half of your post says it's perfectly fine to think of someone else if you're in a relationship, but the latter half begins setting rules in a sense, saying who it's okay to wank to and who it's not. Surely if something is so harmless, it wouldn't matter who it is? Hmm?
Also, wanking is in no way a means of reproduction. Sure the urge to release the sexual energy is derived from that instinct, but you can control what you think of when releasing it. You don't have to think of some slutty celebrity when you have someone you love and find his/her body to be everything you could ever desire. When love and sexual feelings meet, it's much better.
I still see it as mental cheating. Just like I wouldn't want Luke to love someone else, I certainly wouldn't want him to lust after someone else, which goes both ways in our relationship.
