From a scientific standpoint there are only two species on the planet who know such an emotion as Love. Thats us, and some bird (if I remember correctly).

I fail to see how you can measure love in a human, let alone a bird. In the words of the Oracle: "Nobody can tell you you’re in love. You just know it. Through and through. Balls to bones."
