I think anyone has the right to write a story. If it isn't one you'd like to read, don't read it.
Grammar mistakes are humane, but if you are annoyed by them, say it nicely to the author of the story. (Okay, I exclude the worst cases of n00bery)
If there is put a very high standard demand on stories that are published in a forum, some not-so-good or shy ones are afraid to do that.
Then they can't express themselves and become frustrated.
Then they start losing their hair and start beating up little Poochie.
Then the dog will bite the frustrated kid's head off and it'll be put to sleep. Soon the Doggie Goverment notices that President Pooch has been killed by a representative of the dominant species and all the little doggies in the world try and destroy the whole universe.
Lesson: Don't be too hard with the n3wbleties.
