to be perfectly honest, when you look at some of the things that happen in America these days, it doesn't look like many of them have developed much beyond the old British settlers...
i am not getting at anyone, and i did not intend that to provoke anger, but i'm sure many people will agree with me that there are a lot of nasty things done by right-wing extremists in America still, whereas here in Britain we are just too boring to be that evil...
