3: She is attached to a pole/crane like thing. How does she get arround? There must be a way for Maggie to have transportation. She can't sit in that same place her whole life. Does the crane rotate or something?

I don't see why not. To my knowledge, queens of a bee hive remain isolated to one portion of the hive and only attempt to leave if death seems probable. Their job is simply to sit around all their life and 'make babeh's'.
Is there any particular reason as to why Lady Margaret would be any different or
need to move herself around?
