I've never understood the 'awwww!' thing with regards to little children/babies, though I'd say it's probably hormaone related, like Rexy said. And everyone seems to be generalising little children! We were all young once, and not all of us were screaming terrors.

Bah. Stupid generation! But they aren't all like that. I blame mostly television for the ones that are. I'm telling you, my 9 year old brother can go from rebellious American teen ('Mom! Shut up!') to perfect angel ('Mother? Can I help at all?') to worse than Disco Stu (*not very modest dancing*) to Beyblade ('Come on guys, this ain't gonna be pretty if we don't get to school on time!') to Pokemon ( [in a stupid put-on voice]'Of course! It all makes sense! *states obvious, explaining it slowly*) and back again within fifteen minutes. It's a little creepy. Back in my day ...*mutter/ramble*
