Well actualy, I would have to give Half Life 2 the same score. Except maybe for graphics, as Call of Duty two might be a bit better on that front. But HL2 has better physichs by far.

Big Red One? It's okay... the graphics I'd say are on par with HL2... easily. In fact with a good enough graphics card (advanced anti-aliasing and processing helps a lot) and a fast enough computer HL2 is still up there even after all this time.
The highly advanced physics engine, the graphics, the gameplay, the storyline and so forth create an overall gameplay that's so engaging and enjoyable that it's really hard to find anything that actually matches it let alone tops it. At the moment I'd say the games of the Splinter Cell series are the closest due to the way they incorporate the creative use of the environment around you with mouthwatering atmospheres and really detailed, realistic levels. Even in the first splinter cell game, if you walked past an air conditioning unit you could hear the "yingyingyingying" of the fan. This earns it many brownie points.
