Hadda began panicking. 'Gloktigi? But, surely they're only deep in industrial cities, like whereever Maggie is?' He htought.
'Wait, stay calm. staywith the others goups are safer than splitting up. His mind was conflicting with itself, causing hi mto get mroe and more agitated and grip his spear tightly.
Laskar swivelled as Abhay gabbled out to Cheddar about Gloktigi being near. 'Oh crap. We can't let anyone panic, sparation's the last thing we need.'.
Laskar levelled his rifle, moving from an on guard but relaxed positino to comabt stance in an instant.
He switched his visor on from normal to thermal vision, and inbetween the reddy-orange mass of his companions and the dark blue of the surroundi area, he could see faintly greeny-yellow shapes moving about distantly.
The Gloktigi were a fair way off yet, but they'd find them sooner or later. The rain was probably why they had not yet been attacked, the water washing away scents. He pumped his shotgun, loading it fully, and muttered quietly to Abhay and Mordred "There's about 5 of 'em, on our left, searching. They're a fair way off yet, but prob'ly will find us. Whaddaya think we should do?"
He told them as, being scouts, they would hopefully have some idea of how to act, or at least already knew where the creatures were and could take evasive action. It was now that Laskar wished he'd done the stealth classes that had been available for Sligs wishing to go into Mudokon Capture Services.
