Either Stranger really was prepared to find a Steef for Sekto, which would certainly tie in to the idea of him having a ****ed up heart, or he purely wanted to take out revenge on Sekto for privatising the land and destroying the Steef population - how ever much he thinks he needs to distance himself from his old identity, he must still dislike whatever forces made that necessity. I'm leaning on both being true. Stranger wouldn't have had any reason to ensure Sekto would pay 20 grand if he didn't think it was possible to bag the bounty.
I like the idea of the Doc being moved into the Clakker settlements so the Vykkers Conglomerate can cover all known markets. That seems in line with their business strategies, but I don't see why he would have been a subordinate of Humphrey and Irwin. They're the CEOs of Vykkers Labs, but the Conglomerate is composed of other entities.
