But if he had managed to get the operation performed, Sekto would not have been able to find out he was the Steef. And, in any case, Stranger didn't feel any particular connection to his race so he probably did no want to get much by way of revenge.
As for Doc = Humphrey; I doubt it. There's no way Humphrey could have survived the explosion and crash of VL. Any similarity comes from them being members of a species of which we have only seen three members (not including the real-time enemies in MO).
