Metroixer, Clakkers are not a new species to them, they are a new species to US. Oddworld is an already set universe, the characters in the story don't follow and discover new parts as new games come out. Just because western mudo's was used in a game, doesn't mean it wasn't created or populated in the previous games during the adventures of Abe and Munch.
Same goes for the fuzzles, fuzzles are Oddworld wildlife, and show up everywhere they feel at home.
