ch.18 Oh....So now I take orders from a lizard....Just....Great..
"Wait we have to do what?" Said Jobe at the grun who just yelled out rather rudely. "Dude open your ears man! Like I said we're like being attacked by those freaken wolvarks man! This town is like.... Rich in economy and all that jazz you know what i'm saying? The wolvarks are gonna attack us next though! You gotta help us dude!"
The chief stood up ran and grabbed him and started shaking him violently saying.. "YA GOTTA HELP US!" Jobe got annoyed and pushed the chief away. The grub gaurds took this as an offense and jumped on Jobe and started punching him, biting him, and kicking him. "Get the hell of me!" Yelled Jobe violently.
"Chief come on! Can you get those grubs off of Jobe he doesen't know what he's doing he's new here!" Asked Roit loudly with a bit of annoyance. "Yea yea fine whatever get off of him guys..." Said the grub chief while rolling his eyes.
"You're not making a good first impession here mate." Said Roit to Jobe quietly. "If ya keep this up they're gonna expel you from the village. Now I don't even think they have your trust anymore." When Roit stopped talking he turned to the chief and said calmly.
"Fine we'll do your little mission for Jobe's people. Protect your village and scare off the wolvarks right?" The chief put his arm around his head and thought for a long time. After some thinking he put his arm back down and said. "You know what? Since that green dude pissed me off and stuff NOW ya gotta infiltrate their main base and destroy their leader along with protecting our village."
Roit and Jobe were both surprised at this. Roit started "But....How can we do two things at once?". The chief smiled and pointed at Jobe "Also since he pissed me off he will have to be the one attacking the base. ALONE, with you Roit protecting us. Why? Cause that guy is in my sucky journal now!"
"I love you too." Said Jobe in a deep cruel tone. Roit's mouth dropped open is surprise. "But all he did was knock you down! Surely it can't be that bad." "I am like very sensitive dude okay? I'm like a slurg ya know what i'm saying? If he ain't doing it then we won't lend you our army."
"Jobe...." Said Roit as he knelt down beside him. "Are you sure you wanna do this? To save your and the other people in your part of oddworld?" Jobe looked at Roit. Then at the chief. He then said in a most confident voice "Sure...It'll be fun."
