OOC: I say just accidentily push him into that electricity box that happands to be there all open wide on the wall, let him rushed to the hospital and he's in a coma. Then he can wake himself up when TBM feels he is worthy of enjoying us with his company once again.
Just work around him for now, drop his side of the story as well for now and join up with the rest
