Are Smoke Breaks Fair?
When you are a smoker, every few hours you get the luxury of going outside and having a smoke. While as a non-smoker I have to keep on working. But if I go outside and talk to the smoker and I get busted I get in trouble while my smoking buddy gets to finish off his smoke. I few years ago during the end of one of our designated breaks, all of the non-smokers were told to get back to work while the smokers just puffed away for another few minutes. While I understand that cigarettes are just like a drug, is it fair that smokers get better treatment than non-smokers?
